A positive story for these uncertain times……
For 10 years a family with 6 children rented their home with no payment problems.
In 2018 they sadly fell into arrears and asked to be evicted so they could apply for a council house.
Notice was served and Section 21 and then an Order of Possession was filed by Helpland.
Under the landlord’s instructions Helpland were asked to contact the council to see if there was anything they could do to keep
the family in their home. Initially Helpland were told there was nothing the council could do.
Two weeks before the court hearing Helpland contacted the council again and this time the council agreed to help the family
with payments enabling them to stay in their home which they loved and cared for.
This was a win/win situation for both the tenants and the landlord. The landlord continued to rent their property to trusted tenants with no worries regarding payments,
and the tenants were able to stay in their family home.
Helpland will fight your corner whether you are a tenant or a landlord. Never give up.
