The Renters Reform Bill, set to transform the landscape for landlords and tenants, has seen delays, with its passage through the House of Commons expected no earlier than March 2024. Once it receives Royal Assent, new tenancies will be affected 6 months later, and existing ones 18 months thereafter. Additionally, the abolition of Section 21 notices will be contingent on court system enhancements. Landlords must act now to align with these upcoming changes, avoiding further complications and ensuring compliance with new legal requirements.
