Our HCEOs are fully trained professionals, authorized by the Lord Chancellor and the Ministry of Justice, giving them the legal power to act swiftly on High Court orders.
Our High Court Sheriff Service is designed to streamline the enforcement process, minimizing delays and complications that often arise in challenging cases. Once a possession order or debt recovery order is transferred to the High Court, our team works diligently to execute the writ as quickly as possible. We understand the urgency of such matters and are committed to providing a seamless service that helps landlords and creditors achieve their objectives with minimal stress. Whether you need to recover a significant amount of unpaid rent, reclaim your property from non-compliant tenants, or enforce a financial judgment, our service offers a reliable and effective solution to protect your rights and assets.

The High Court Sheriff Service involves utilising High Court Enforcement Officers to enforce court judgments, typically related to debt recovery or property possession. If a debtor owes more than £5,000 or if you need to enforce a possession order, transferring your case from the County Court to the High Court enables more decisive and immediate action. HCEOs have the legal authority to seize goods or evict tenants, ensuring that your rights are enforced without unnecessary delays.
This service is ideal if you have a possession order or a debt judgment of over £5,000 and require a more forceful and expedited method of enforcement.
The process usually takes 14-20 working days to secure a writ after applying to transfer the case to the High Court, with evictions scheduled within 7-10 working days after that.
HCEOs are legally authorized to seize goods, carry out evictions, and take any necessary action to enforce High Court orders, operating with full legal backing.
While it’s not mandatory, we advise attending the eviction along with a locksmith to ensure smooth access to the property.
Our officers are trained to handle resistance professionally and will take all necessary legal steps to ensure that the court’s orders are enforced.
